Here is a list of neologisms that help me recall Mental Models more quickly and vividly.
Dilut – negative effects of focusing on too many directions
Funiacs – when resisting group thinking
One-wrong step paradox – embarking on a path and realizing that turning back and taking a different route is a shorter way to reach the destination, yet resisting the change due to having already committed to the initial direction – similar to Sunk costs
[need name] – the distance between theory and practice, like there is a good NSDR meditation, and you just want to recreate it — but it doesn’t happen by thinking about what happens there — but by being in the experience — by for example tensing your leg, and keeping it tense for 5s, then moving to the abdomin and doing the same. Sometimes there is this illusion of why i cannot just think about this, no you cannot, you need to go to the body and engage it for specici amount of time.
