Publishing has a powerful constructive effects.

Feedback is undervalued

This is the more obvious part. I think feedback is still under appreciated. Feedback is a way counteracting Creator’s bias 🎨 and other Cognitive Biases

Feedback from imagined viewers

The second part is about an internal process. Sometimes I discover strong insights after publishing (or sharing) even before I get any feedback. I think there is some automatic thought process firing up. This may (C 60%) work this way because we are very social animals and our minds start to work intensely on how our work may be viewed by others. This has surprisingly strong effects even when sending work to just a few people. Perhaps the brain just fires this algorithm and it doesn't matter if you send to 3, 30, or 3,000 people.
